We had a nice time going to see the Nativity together. I hope you'll get a chance to see it if you haven't already. It's good to support the movies with positive messages such as this one.
Don't forget we have 2 different Christmas programs for you this year. On Wed., Dec. 20, we'll be having our school Christmas Program at 7:30 p.m. There will be a lot of singing, some piano pieces as well as some poems and caroling. I think you'll enjoy it. The program lasts about one hour. We hope you'll come and support the kids.
Secondly, we'll have our Christmas Eve service this Sunday at 9:30 a.m. There will be lots of special Christmas music for you to enjoy and Pastor Bob will tell the Christmas story to the children. Come celebrate Christ's love with us and then spend the day with your family.

The Nativity
December 10 is our pot luck. We want all of you to come. We always have great food and fellowship. This year, following the pot luck, we will be going to see the Nativity, a new movie about Christ's birth. (See poster in the foyer.)
I thought following the pot luck would be very convenient because that should be about the time of the first showing and we can go to the Norwalk theater, which is so close to our church. Prices and exact time to be announced.
We'll probably be taking the school children to see this as a separate field trip.

Ralph Carmichael Concert
Grace EV Free Church will be going together to see Ralph Carmichael in concert on Dec. 2. We went about 2 years ago and saw him at the EV Free in Fullerton. He has a wonderful ""Big Band" style orchestra that played hymns to the Big Band style. This concert will be a Christmas Concert and we know you'll all be thrilled by his music. The concert if free, but we have to order tickets ahead of time, so you must contact Becky, our music director, right away. The concert is sponsored by Far East Broadcasting Company, which ministers to the entire Far East by radio and short wave.
